I have
mentioned before that I’m not “on board” with the United Kingdom Accreditation
Service or with ISO 15189.
Call me
reactionary if you will, but from what I can see, whilst some of it is useful,
much of it is paperwork for paperwork’s sake.
We were
far better off in the day with dedicated Clinical Pathology
Accreditation when we had a system with us in mind. Now we have something supposedly
applicable to a far wider catchment group, and the standards are incredibly generic.
I so want
to see the benefit of this…
