Here’s something from the nice people at Lablogatory that made me sit up and take notice. A case study of a chap in his seventies with a very sudden onset of neutropenia. This turned out to be a case of acute myeloid leukaemia. The general perception is that acute leukaemia is synonymous with a while cell count in the hundreds… this is not always the case.
I myself saw a very similar case only last week…
