I did some e-learning today – “Blood Components and Indications for Use”. As I did it I planned this blog entry and thought I would say something along the lines of “I didn’t learn anything new but a refresher is always good”, but whilst that turned out to be the case, it probably won’t be so next time. One thing that had become painfully apparent to me over the years is that opinion and practice in blood transfusion is a very changing thing…
