8 October 2020 (Thursday) - The Twenty-First Century

Here’s a sign of the times…. The IBMS is holding all sorts of on-line events rather than having an attend-in-person congress this year. In the past I’ve discussed (ranted about) the benefits of having on-line events rather than a jolly-up with pals, but the thing that’s amazed me today is how I heard about the on-line events.
I didn’t hear via a formal communication from the IBMS; I read about it in my Facebook feed.

I suppose this *is* the twenty-first century…
