The
UKAS sent
their update today. If yesterday’s IBMS update was of questionable relevance
to me, the UKAS update was of absolutely no relevance whatsoever.
I
follow it because the UKAS standards are *such*
a big part of my professional activities. But… In my daily round I strive to
provide the most accurate and precise results that I can. As quickly as I
safely can. Do the UKAS standards help me in doing this? I am (rather forcefully) told
they do, but *absolutely no one* has
been able to demonstrate how in any sort of meaningful way
Perhaps
I’m getting too old for all this?
