Here’s an interesting case which appeared in
the Facebook “Blood Bank Interest Group”
today.
No reaction with anti-A or anti-B but a
stonking reaction in the anti-AB. And something weak with the A cells.
(The Rh
group is straightforward)
My money is on Ax, but it’s not me who makes
that call. I’d refer this to NHSBT and look forward to either feeling smug when
they confirm my theory or going to hide somewhere when they don’t.
