Not *that* much in the Transfusion Evidence Alert email today, and that which was there was mostly COVID-related. But something for nothing I always greatly appreciated.

5 September 2020 (Saturday) - BTLP -TACT Excercise

Time to do another BTLP-TACT exercise. The software presented me with two cases  

50156  - a thirty year old female requiring group and save .
She grouped as O Pos with no antibodies detected

8883  -  A sixty year old chap requiring group and save.
He grouped as A Neg with a positive antibody screen. I requested panels. The IAT and enzyme panels were suggestive of anti-D but could not exclude anti-Cw

I got the green light​

The nice people at “Oxford Academic” sent their update today. It was filled with stuff that was not only interesting, but relevant to me.

I seem to have missed some of their emails in the past – I shall look out for more of these.
