I got hold of the results for NEQAS parasitology survey 2004PA today
2004PA1 I said was P. falciparum with a parasitaemia of 2.5%. It was P. falciparum but with a parasitaemia of 2.0%
That’s (realilstically) close enough.
2004PA2 was a thick film in which I said there were parasites present. There were – the survey said was P. falciparum.
I always thought that speciation wasn’t possible in a thick film?
I’m taking this as having got them right.
