Here’s a rather garbled version of the latest theory. Basically all the human sub-species were keen on inter-breeding, but the non-modern-humans had antigens which seemed to provoke immune responses far stronger that those cause by modern humans, and HDFN did for all the other sub-species.

I did some e-learning today – “Blood Components and Indications for Use”. As I did it I planned this blog entry and thought I would say something along the lines of “I didn’t learn anything new but a refresher is always good”, but whilst that turned out to be the case, it probably won’t be so next time.
