Did you know that you can comment on any
article you might read here? Not that many people do…
On 16 November I mentioned about an article on
promyelocytes that the nice people at the Blood Academy had posted.
Today I got a comment on that article. It started
“nice post…” and then tried to advertise
some web site or other. I deleted that comment.
The HCPC offers
guidance on the matter.
“If you are involved in advertising or
promoting any product or service, you must make sure that you use your
knowledge, skills and experience in an accurate and responsible way. You must
not make or support unjustifiable statements relating to particular products”.
And there’s no point in offering me a bung.
“Any potential financial rewards to you should
play no part at all in your advice or recommendations of products and services
that you give to service users“.
Whilst I welcome comments, I’m *not* going to advertise stuff unless I
am personally convinced that said stuff is worth advertising.
