19 October 2022 (Wednesday) - BTLP-TACT Exercise

I hadn’t done a BTLP-TACT exercise for a while (three weeks!) so I thought I’d better get busy…

I was presented with one case – a seventy-two year old chap in the operating theatre needing six units of blood (for an aortic aneurysm) tomorrow… (yes, I know… but I suspect the person who wrote the simulator doesn’t).
However the sample was utterly unlabelled so I rejected it.

I got the green light.

18 October 2022 (Tuesday) -Westgard Newsletter

The Westgard Newsletter came out today… this is  only the first or second I’ve had… but useful stuff directly applicable to what I do (for the most part).

15 October 2022 (Saturday) - BBTS Journal

The BBTS quarterly magazine (if that is the right word) came out today. It is on-line and whilst perhaps a tad esoteric, it is actually on-topic and only costs me eight quid a month (see my rant of a few days ago).

You can access it by clicking here but I suspect you will need a subscription…
