26 October 2018 (Friday) - Acronyms


The nice people at Digital Pathology sent their update today. I couldn’t be arsed with it.
Unprofessional? Possibly. It started off with a headline “THE IMPACT OF NGS ON WSI“ and in my mind I had already given up. Why can’t these people write in comprehensible English rather than in unintelligible acronyms?

This is a failing on my part I need to address…

27 September 2018 (Thursday) - "Blockchain"


The Digital Pathology Association sent their update today. They were talking about “Blockchain” which (in all honesty) didn’t mean much to me, but I really should be aware of its existence…
At the moment blood film morphology is a dying art. I have this naïve idea that in a few years’ time a day or two of morphology a week might supplement my meagre pension.
Blockchain” might put paid to that plan…
