I’m not quite old enough to remember the
first Moon landings, but I remember the Apollo 13 disaster and Skylab. I
remember Dolly (the first cloned sheep) and Louise Brown (the first
test-tube baby).
I had such high hopes for the future… it
turned out to be such
a disappointment.
