It’s aplastic anaemia…
 
In hypocellular MDS you’d expect to see blasts in the bone marrow.
Mycobacterial infection doesn’t result in hypocellularity.
Haemophagocytosis wasn’t seen.
It’s not pure red cell aplasia as other cell lines are affected.
