Two months ago I did the differential count NEQAS. The results came in today:
My result Consensus
Neut 7.7 6.4 – 8.2
Lymph 2.5 1.7- 3.5
Mono 0.5 0.3 – 1.1
Eo 0.0 0.0 – 0.2
Baso 0.2 0.0 – 0.1
It has to be said I appeared to be a tad keen on the basophils, didn’t I? I counted two hundred cells and saw three basophils… Was I unlucky to see relatively so many? Probably.
