Distribution Width? Wassat?
It
would seem that Beckman Coulter have developed the ability to measure the
spread of sizes of monocytes (bit like an
RDW) which would seem to have applications in the detection of sepsis… in
those few places still using Coulter counters… I must admit I was surprised to
hear that Coulter counters were still in existence.
