The “Transfusion
News” update came today. This one had a link to a web version of it – you can

it by clicking here. I wish they did that every time.
There is mention of testing for anaemia with
a SmartPhone app… that’s me out of a job, then (!) and also an article about the need for guidelines for transfusion
guidelines for thalassaemic patients. I thought these had been established
years ago?
