patient’s clinical details to day “On Romiplostin”.
I’d never heard of that before…
Romiplostim is a fusion protein analog of
thrombopoietin, the hormone that regulates platelet production. There’s some
NICE guidance on the
stuff here.
I was rather amazed to see there was no
information available on its use in pregnancy or when breast feeding or on
renal impairment… I wonder why?
