Earlier today the nice people at Lablogatory
sent me an article which was directly relevant to what I do. They sent another
article today. Interesting… but not really practical.
Malaria *can*
be spread by blood transfusion. However I have no way of knowing whether or not
a unit of blood that I crossmatch is infected. I can only assume that NHSBT has
sorted that out.
