The
IBMS newsletter arrived today. Far be it from me to be in any way less than
one hundred per cent supportive of the “Black Lives Matter” campaign (as
that gets you struck off), but shouldn’t the lead article be something
of a scientific, technical or medical nature?
The second
article was about the need for HCPC verifiers (something for which I have
volunteered and been ignored).
The third
article was about the proposed rise in HCPC fees in which we pay for that which
I strongly feel should be paid for by the government.
More and
more the IBMS is losing its way. There is less and less biomedical science
going on with every issue… I’m paying sixteen quid a month and getting precious
little for my money.
