This photo appeared on Facebook in the hematology interest group. Judging from what people had been posting I would guess that these are spirochetes of Lyme Disease. I’ve never seen them before, but it would seem they aren’t entirely unusual in America.
Bearing in mind I pulled two ticks off of one of the dogs last month this might be something to swot up on…
