When I formally studied haematology (all
those years ago) I formed the distinct impression that “myelodysplastic syndrome” was a
catch-all phrase for all sorts of vaguely related clinical conditions.
It would seem that this impression was ahead of
its time. Genetic analysis is making sense of things…
