Transfusion News people sent their update yesterday. As well as by email, the
thing is available on-line if you
know where to look.
There were
several articles of interest, but this
one made me think the most. The World Health Organisation has collected
data on blood safety and availability. Needless to say there is a lot of
variation in practice globally. This makes it very difficult for me when trying
to keep my skills and knowledge up to date. What is recommended practice in one
part of the world may not be for me…
